Philosophy
All anime are encoded in Hi10p. Most anime will be encoded in CRF-16 with FLAC/Audio Copy.
Blu-ray will be encoded to 720p, and DVD will be encoded to 450p (16:9) and 480p (4:3).
Source will always be BD or DVD, and will never be up-scaled.
Quality is what's important here.
P.S. I recommend using updated VLC Player with High10 selected as the x264 profile in Preferences.
